Zali had homework this week to take 5 black and white photos of a single subject showing 'change' and also experimenting with texture and exposure and other photography type things. I immediately thought this would be a great project to do outside where change happens naturally - We could think of heaps of subjects and possibilities for change in nature (tides, wind, time-of-day…). But since we used our only free day climbing Mt Amos last weekend we were left with having to find something that would work indoors as it's almost always dark by the time we got home. So this is the end result.. (4 of the 5 photos anyway..)
I know what you're thinking… you're thinking "but hey this IS outdoors", and "how did you get to the tarn shelf?" And "how did you get there with un-melted ice-cubes?"
Books, cake tins and trickery dear reader, that's how...
