Routines

• 6ish Wake up - I'm still not really on Chennai time, but nor am I on Australian time!
• 6:30 to 7:30 Check emails, chat with people in the Hobart Studio, if there's time, watch an episode of The Killing or Better Call Saul on my computer
• 7:45 to 8:45 Go to hotel gym (disturbing the gym superviser who is as often as not, reclining on the bench press watching tv when I walk in, forcing him to spring up immediately ), I have convinced Alicia and Stefan to join me there most days so I have company which is nice
• 8:45 to 9:30 Back in hotel room, shower, prepare for day
• 9:30 to 10:15 - breakfast at hotel buffet. Every day I have scrambled eggs and some strange fruit juice (there's every permutation of fruit juice except apple and orange juice!) . Chat to Alicia and Stefan over breakfast about work and meetings happening that day. 
• 10:30 our driver picks us up (in a nice safe feeling Tarago) and we take the wild ride down to the studio. 
• 11-5 or 6ish - work at the Criya Studio, then driver takes us home
• 6-7ish, if possible I often sneak a 1/2 an hour of walking on the treadmill at the gym. Sometimes there's time for a swim in the hot pool
• 8ish, Dinner nearby (I'll talk more about food in another email)
• 9-10ish, Bed, including blogging and watching a few more episodes of something on my computer
• Rinse and Repeat..

Today will be different though and I'm really looking forward to it as it feels a bit like the last day of term! We're heading into the studio as normal, then going out for lunch with some of the studio guys, then, most excitingly, we're going to the cinema!  The movies are a big thing for Indians, and I'm really looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere of a packed cinema of enthusastic critics. Alicia has been once before and she's told me that the people actually clap as the movie starts, such is their enthusiasm. We're going to see a locally made, highly acclaimed Tamil (the local language) movie with English subtitles. And as a bonus, we're going to see a 4:15 session, so it will feel a little bit like bunking off school for the day!
