Last night we had a really big aurora. So big we had to dial down the exposure on our cameras (back to 3seconds). And even then it didn't really capture it - we needed really wide lenses to get it all! Again the boat was moving so our best memories will have to be in our heads.. These photos don't bear up to scrutiny but they give a sense of the experience. And they don't show the wind either - the display was spectacular but you had to hold onto a railing to not be blown away!
Again these images are barely touched - only the exposure - they are pretty much as we saw it with our eyes. The movement isn't conveyed of course - sometimes we could see it writing itself across the sky - it was very impressive and a good way to end our trip.
