We are all going ski-ing tomorrow (yayyyy!!!!!), which means the skis must be prepared. This won't mean much to people who haven't cross-country skied, but fish-scale bottomed skis are only for the under 5s in Norway.
So whilst Bjørn and Lars-Henrik kindly waxed the skies in the dedicated wax-room, in the back of the garage, I did a little ski-audit. I only counted the cross-country skis, not the alpine or telemark or skis which could possibly belong in a ski-museum.
Then I asked Harald and Linda how many pairs of skis they though they had there.
Harald thought 24 and Linda thought 25. The answer...
But hey, I'm not complaining as two of those pairs of skis have my name on them (literally, in tape), and I'll be using them tomorrow.
