I've wanted to take a photo of the John Garrow Light (Blinking Billy to the locals) for a while so you'll have to put up with the large photo. It has a great rusty texture and often has a crew of birds loitering around the base. This morning it was almost sunny and although my waterproof camera takes decidedly dodgy photos in anything below perfect light, it was all good today.
I've got a long history with this light, we used to go around it in my International Cadet sailing days back in the eighties, and pass it all the time on trips down the river on Grandfather's boat. It's nice to get up close to it again.
