Recovery Day

Today I had a lovely time generally taking it easy while Jon worked (I am on holidays all this week). 

First I returned the magic e-bike back to the bike store. Even this was really pleasant as it involves an almost completely flat ride along the foreshore into town and back:

Then I pottered around the house changing sheets and doing washing and finally getting around to making some hooks for the store-room to hold the sand boards:

In the afternoon I went down to Scamander to run around Winifred Curtis Reserve. I chose this run as it's almost completely flat and really pretty - it did not disappoint on either front:

I'm happy that my sore knee seems to be mostly cycling related and running didn't seem to bother it. I'll take it easy for a few more days just to be safe. The afternoon was so sunny and calm I did entertain the idea of a paddle but I decided I'd be tempting some sort of shoulder injury if I paddled on consecutive days at this early stage in my comeback to casual paddling.

Then Jon and I made some delicious dinner together and watched some good tv.  A lovely day.
