What bits of March come before the 1st?

Ever since I updated my website to say I wasn't available between October and March I've been inundated with panicked and desperate would-be customers who have either received a quote and haven't paid a deposit (thus are un-confirmed) or who are just desperate for my cakes.  This morning some-one's MUM called to say her daughter called me a few weeks ago and I gave her a quote but as she hadn't got around to paying a deposit (blah blah blah) she was afraid she might not be booked in (yep) - Good Grief - cake customers think I would be afraid of  their mums?   I'm only afraid of my mum - and that's only when it concerns clean rollerskates and dirty toothbrushes.

Anyway this afternoon someone rang and said she'd just been looking at my website and noticed the unavailable dates and just wanted to check that it was 'ALL' of March that I was unavailable.  I asked her what date she was thinking of and she said - um.. the 1st?  Good grief. As it was such an audacious and amusing attempt to score a cake and she sounded friendly I accepted her order anyway. But don't anyone else get any ideas.
