Car and other Wrecks

I'm sure I could fill pages and pages of this blog with photos of rusted old cars I've either hung controls on (as part of orienteering events or training), or run past (during orienteering events).  This lot is a fraction of what we saw today out at Rajah's Rocks, near Avoca.  

From the shape of the headlights it looks like some hooligans from the 60s had their fun with this one:

And this one clearly needed a bit of finishing off from the locals:

This one is hard to see but it had been rolled down the giant rock slabs on the side of the hill, coming to rest down the bottom:

And this is simply a classic model:

Of course normally the views at orienteering are much more pleasant and natural:

but sometimes they are broken down and rusty people.. - on the left is me and Ali, both of us (and photographer Jo) are helpers on the junior training camp, and on the right is Jett, who is about to break down as Zali hands him a new map with an even longer course than the one he was in the middle of:
