After a nice break on Kangaroo Island, we spent 2 nights exploring the Limestone Coast area of South Australia. Although it was hot (REALLY HOT) we had a great time. We climbed dormant volcanos, walked on beaches, swum in crater lakes, discovered megafauna (at the World Heratige listed Naracorte Caves), stayed at a caravan park straight out of the 70s and even drove past a couple of big things - although I have to say the big olive was a bit of a pathetic effort - the big lobster was much better.. It was awesome and I'd really recommend the area for a budget family holiday. Not the 70s caravan park though, I'd skip that (at Southend).
