Little Moment in Craft #5

This was the number I made and stuck on the door at our Pacific Highway apartment. It was the only one like it in the complex but it didn't stop the odd drunk resident of neighbouring apartments trying to get into our place in the middle of the night.  The blurry photo kind-of recreates what they would have seen actually.

You know when I look back on these old photos it kind of makes sense that I do what I do now  (i.e. making cakes and working with animation) cos I've been doing creative stuff ever since forever really. And it's not like I ever thought I was particularly talented (in fact I chucked in a Fine Arts degree after a week as I decided that everyone else was better than me and also they all wore pointy black shoes which I wasn't into). The thing is I just really really enjoy it. It would maybe have been weirder I did just have a straight-down-the-line IT career.  Although to a certain extent you could argue that IT is creative in its own way - especially when it comes to webby sort of stuff.
