Web stalking at its finest

Back in the 90s, the only way mum or dad would know my whereabouts when I was overseas was if I wrote them a letter – which as it happens I did quite frequently but they would still be at least 4 days behind.  I reckon if we were relying on letters now we’d be more like 3 weeks behind such is the backwards progress of the various postal services– perhaps we’ll experiment on this trip. 

Anyway - Jett is overseas at the moment and we’ve been employing all the modern technology to keep our eyes on him.  We saw members of his Jukola relay team on the broadcast of the event which was fun:

but the peak of our web tracking as been spotting him on a live webcam at the top of a ski lift while he was hiking in the dolomites.   Zali made this discovery as she knew what hike they were doing, and we got our timing just right to see them walk past. We even managed to get a message over quick enough so we could get a wave and a message back.  The message was one word ..  ‘creeps’ – which is fairly accurate.
