Suddenly it's nearly Wednesday

On the left is  Jett's  baby walker toy. Perfect for babies  practising their walking complete with sounds and wheels and  all sorts of fun (It was also my fist ever ebay purchase as it happens).  On the right is what  Jett prefers to push around -  Yes,  the kitchen  bin. I guess it's the snacking opportunites together with the possibility of putting things inside it which make it so appealing. sigh.  He's better at standing but still not walking yet.  He has been crawling for 5 months now so he is very accomplished and has developed many different types of crawl including the:  'Stomp' (i'm-not-going-to-be-kept-away-from- this-no-matter-how-far-away-you -move-me).  The 'Sprint' - (I'm going- to- race you to the- door, hang onto your legs and stop you going anywhere) and the 'Determined' - (I-can-see-the-box-of-tissues-and-I'm-going-to- get-them- no-matter-what is in -my -way).

Jon and I and Robin went to see the New Pirates of the Carribean movie on Sunday - it was great fun - and the first movie we have seen since the Oyster Farmer - which I enjoyed too.  We also went orienteering and generally had a nice relaxed weekend I think (it all seems so long ago now). Today the weather changed to how I remember Hobart winters being - cold with lots of snow on the mountain - as I can't bear to let a training opportunity on a 'free' day pass me by I still went running and got soaked by slushy icy rain. It was still worth it though!  I've spent almost the entire rest of the day in the kitchen baking cakes for next week.

By the way - if anyone wants to set up their own blog using Jonno's software just let me know (email my cakewoman address) and I can get it organised for you - I can even do you a header if you can send me some photos as I love messing around with that sort of stuff!   It's really easy to do. Even Paul my brother is managing it with his travel blog..   and we all know he's not the brightest brick in the bbq.
