Snug Falls and Dave Burrows Walk

The weather was fantastically clear and sunny today so I took myself to Snug Falls.

It rained a fair bit this week so a billion other people had the same idea and the parking was a bit chaotic.  It's good to see so many people out enjoying our natural resources but it was really weird that so many people had their dogs with them. I must have jogged past 20 dogs on the short run down to the falls.   I've just done some research and it turns out that Snug Falls is listed on lots of sites as a great dog friendly walk.  I guess I don't mind the dogs, they were all on leads and amusingly they were all different breeds from sausage dogs, labradoodle things to huge fluffy white dogs.  Despite their variations, they all had one thing in common..  very very very muddy paws. ha!

After the hustle and bustle of Snug Falls it was really nice to go for a trot along the Dave Burrows walk. Conveniently placed next to Margate Tip (because I had some recycling to drop off) it's a short trip down to the water and back.  It's too short to go for a proper run, but it's perfect for a quick jaunt on a sunny day.
