Euro Day 41 - Sweden to Switzerland

As is always the case, the final day of our island stay dawned with calm seas, clear skies and bright sunshine.  That was annoying but I'm comforted by the fact that it will be raining for the next few days though - ha! Anyway - pettiness aside, I got up much earlier than the last couple of days and ran three loops of the island.  It was quite nice and there weren't many people around to witness my craziness.  

After a leisurely breakfast I went to read and admire the view from another tip of the island for a while.  It would have been great if we had had access to some kayaks while we were here so we could explore the surrounding islands.  Next time.

then it was time to pack up, clean up, eat the rest of the food, then trek down to the jetty to wait with crossed fingers for the water taxi guy.

Thankfully he showed up right on time and took us the 10 minutes or so around the the main ferry stop at Vettersö.  

We had time for a short stroll around then the ferry arrived and we cruised gently back to Stockholm.
