7 Projects in 7 Days: Day #3

Ok - so where I'm going wrong with this week's challenge is thinking that I actually need to generate 'new' projects. The house is already littered with them - I've tripped over one of the more ambitious ones about twenty times today on my way to the kitchen and I know it's just a matter of time before the offcuts (the vacuum cleaner missed) of another one sinks itself into someone's foot.  Oh well.

Today I didn't want to make the same mistake as yesterday so I made sure I completed a couple of smaller scale projects before it got too late in the day.. 

The first project was to replace the chopping board divider thingy which had fallen out months ago in the saucepan cupboard (exciting stuff I know) leading to a mish-mash of boards and pots..

Riveting stuff. The piece of wood I used is an old deck railing thing.

While I was sorting out the cupboard I came across one of my very early mosaic works (a trivet) looking very much worse for wear!

So it became a special bonus project for today as I cleaned it up, cut new mosaics, glued them in and re-grouted the whole thing. It's come up a treat...

 I also spent an hour on one of my major projects but then it hailed so I had to stop, and another hour on another project that I have grave fears for (good idea - bad execution)..  

I'm not sure what's going to be finished tomorrow!
